Microsoft gives details on Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse Day One Editions
Microsoft has detailed the exclusive content that Xbox One owners will receive with their Day One Editions of Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse.
Owners of the Day One Edition Xbox One will inevitably be purchasing one of the launch day titles to play on it, so Microsoft has offered the first details on the exclusives coming with three of its self-published launch games.
Forza Motorsport 5 will come with a free Day One Car Pack. This includes a 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe, the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera and the 2013 Ford Focus ST.
All of the above cars will come with a special Day One paintjob and a tuning package created by Turn 10.
The Ryse: Son of Rome Day One Edition offers gamers an exclusive Gladiator Mode Co-Op Multiplayer. Entitled Ruins, the map takes place in an abandoned temple among the ruined columns.
Players will have to battle against hordes of Barbarians, but they won’t have to do it alone as they can invite Xbox One Live friends who only have the Standard Edition to play on the exclusive map too.
The Day One Edition of Ryse: Son of Rome also includes the “Legionnaire’s Trust Exclusive Sword”, a special weapon with unknown in-game properties.
Finally, the Dead Rising 3 Day One Edition comes with a Dead Rising Tribute Pack, although we’re not sure at this point what this will entail.
Gamers will also get access to a two exclusive outfits. The first is a Chuck Green outfit with Paddle Saw combo weapon, which also holds attribute perks for weapon and vehicle durability to protect gamers from the hordes of zombies.
The second is a Frank West outfit that comes complete with Frank’s Zombie Slugger weapon. This outfit allows for extra gore when attacking and introduces a special skill move. It will also increase melee damage and make for tougher survivors.
The Day One Editions of Ryse, Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3 are exclusively available from Game for the Xbox One. However, gamers can also purchase them digitally from the Xbox Live store and download them to their console within the first two weeks after the Xbox One release date.
