Vodafone offers extra 4GB 4G data as 4GBonus special
Vodafone is offering new and existing 4G customers an additional 4G of data per month for the entirety of their contract.
Part of the new 4GBonus special promotion, anyone joining Vodafone’s 4G network before the end of October will get an additional 4GB of data for the rest of the contract for no additional cost.
Anyone who has already signed up to Vodafone 4G will also get the 4G Bonus applied to their contract for free.
“With our Vodafone Red 4G-ready plans 4G finally has a purpose and now with the ‘4GBonus’ Vodafone ultrafast 4G is even more compelling,” said Mark Howe, Head of Post Pay Consumer at Vodafone UK. “There are a number of hotly anticipated new devices coming out in the Autumn and with the ‘4GBonus’ there are even more reasons for customers to choose Ultrafast 4G from Vodafone.”
SIM-only plans, 12 or 24 month contracts will all get three months of unlimited data on the 4G tariffs, then receive 4GB plus the amount of data usually given with Vodafone Red 4G-ready plans for the remaining months.
Anyone signing up for one of these contracts will automatically get a choice of a Spotify Premium membership or access to Sky Sports Mobile TV for free.
Existing Vodafone customers can upgrade to 4G for an extra £5 per month, and will also get access to the Sky Sports or Spotify promotion as well.
Vodafone 4G tariffs start at £26 per month for a 12 month SIM-only plan, which now offers 6GB of data, and unlimited calls and texts.
Although Vodafone 4G coverage is already available in London, the UK network provider has just announced that Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield will get access to the network on September 28.
By the close of 2013, Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle will also get Vodafone 4G coverage.
